        Chuck:

        We have a pair of VH4D Standard bore cylinders with no valves, use as is or bore to .030.

        We also have a pair of VH4D cylinders bored to .030. They are complete with valves and ready to install.

              We have a rebuilt head complete with a cam, casting number is 528886 or 528686.
              We are retiring so your cost would be C$225 and NO CORE CHARGE.
              And if you are interested we can sell you the rebuilder tool as well for C$100.

                I may have a 3.8 V6 Ford for your 99 Mustang.
                Are you looking for a Block or complete Engine?
                Any particular Casting numbers?

                  Dave:

                  Many moons ago we ran into a similar and possibly identical problem.

                  It turned out to be a stuck cross over valve.

                  It prevented the exhaust from crossing over and caused one head to overheat, crack and blow the gasket.
