2014 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The E.R.I. Group held their 2014 Annual General Meeting at the Delta Markham Hotel, in Markham, Ontario on September 27, 2014 followed by a dinner social function attended by E.R.I. members and suppliers. After dinner Rick Miller, President of The E.R.I. Group presented awards to many deserving individuals.

The V. Barclay Upton Memorial Award, which is presented annually to the highest performing E.R.I. Service Team member, was awarded to Rae Coyle. Ray has been a respected and hardworking member of the E.R.I. Service Team in the Atlantic Provinces since 2002.

The 2014 Largest Sales Growth plaque was awarded to Hastings Manufacturing Company, LLC.

Mr. Steve Cudney, President of C & C Valves Inc. accepted the 2014 Outstanding Service plaque for the supplier with the best service. The recipients of the Outstanding Service Awards are voted on by the E.R.I. members nationally and are presented annually.

The 2014 Order Desk Person of the Year awards as voted on by the E.R.I. members were presented to the following deserving recipients. Russ Thomlison of Independent Parts Warehousing Inc., in Edmonton Alberta representing Western Canada, Kevin Spencer of Independent Parts Warehousing Inc., in Stouffville Ontario representing Eastern Canada and Cal Gardiner of MAHLE Aftermarket, ULC representing Eastern Canada.

The 2014 Sales Representative of the Year awards as voted on by the E.R.I. members were presented to Tony Gannon of MAHLE Aftermarket, ULC representing Western Canada, Doug Hall from the E.R.I. Service Team representing Central Canada, and Rae Coyle also of the E.R.I. Service Team representing Eastern Canada.

Several E.R.I. members and staff were presented with pins commemorating their participation in the E.R.I. Group.

Roger Tennant of Roger Tennant Automotive in Port Perry, Ontario and Norm Dumka of Parkland Engine Rebuilders (1994) Ltd. in Yorkton, Saskatchewan where awarded their Twenty-Year Participation Pins.

Marc Arsenault of Arsenault Cylinder Heads Ltd. in Scoudouc, New Brunswick and Veronica Humber and Linda Prospero from the staff of The E.R.I. Group were presented with their Ten-Year Participation Pins.

Ralph Rae and Doug Hall of the E.R.I. Service Team and Michelle Humber from the staff of The E.R.I. Group were presented with their Five-Year Participation Pins.

Six E.R.I. members received plaques recognizing their membership in the 2013 Quarter Million Dollar Club. These members all had annual purchases in 2013 of over $250,000 with the E.R.I. Group. This year’s recipients were Precise Engine Rebuilders Inc. in Calgary Alberta, Pro Stock Performance & Machine Ltd. in Edmonton Alberta, Beatty & Woods Ltd in Mississauga Ontario, Crosstown Engine Rebuilders in Toronto Ontario, Central Auto Parts Ltd. in Fredericton New Brunswick and Arsenault Cylinder Heads Ltd. in Scoudouc New Brunswick.

For the second consecutive year Nova Automotive Machine Company in Dartmouth Nova Scotia received a plaque recognizing their membership in the 2013 -500,000 Guild. This plaque is awarded for annual purchases of over $500,000 with the E.R.I. Group.

The E.R.I. Group applauded their outgoing Board of Directors for their hard work and commitment to the E.R.I. Group and introduced the newly elected Board of Directors for the 2015-2016 term. Following are the 2015-2016 Board of Directors:

An Open House on Sunday September 28th attended by E.R.I. members and several suppliers at the I.P.W. warehouse in Stouffville followed the Saturday activities. An enjoyable and productive time was had by all.
